SEA-PAH's annual fundraiser where teams of pups and handlers perform live scenes for the audience in the most gloriously chaotic competition we run.
Best in Show is an annual contest that turns the idea of a contest on its head. SEA-PAH pups are paired with handlers from other organizations into competing teams, and each team performs scenes for the audience. Judging is live - and judges can be bribed, cajoled, or otherwise persuaded to adjust their scores at any point. Chaos and shenanigans are not just allowed, they’re encouraged. The audience can also boost a team’s score directly through donations in their name.
Best in Show is designed to strip the stress out of competition and get everyone - contestants and audience alike - genuinely having fun. Funds raised each year go towards a specific nonprofit chosen before the event.
