Local and national organizations connected to the leather, kink, and pup play community.
Seattle & Pacific Northwest
- Seattle Men in Leather (SML) - Founded 1989; Seattle’s core gay men’s leather social group with 300+ members. Regular socials, educational events, and speakers.
- Washington State Leather Organization (WSLO) - 501(c)(3) nonprofit running the WA State Leather and Bootblack Contest, Leather Pride Week, and the Leather Emerald Awards.
- ONYX Pacific Northwest - Fellowship of people of color in leather, kink, and BDSM in the Seattle and Portland metro areas; part of the national ONYX network.
- Lambert House - Seattle LGBTQ+ youth center providing support, community, and resources for LGBTQ+ young people ages 10–22 through drop-in programs, groups, and counseling referrals.
- Center for Sex Positive Culture (CSPC) - Seattle-based 501(c)(7) running kink-friendly social and play events; currently operating at Gallery Erato.
- Leather Reign - Annual Seattle leather, BDSM, and kink conference with an educational focus; held each November.
- KinkFest - Portland Leather Alliance - The West Coast’s largest kink and BDSM conference, held annually in Portland each April; 50+ classes, play parties, and vendor mall.
PAH Organizations
- PDX PAH - Portland’s pup and pet play organization; the closest regional peer org to SEA-PAH, open to all critters and focused on education and community.
Seattle Venues
- The Cuff Complex - Capitol Hill gay bar and event space; a longtime home for leather and kink community events in Seattle.
- CC’s Seattle - Capitol Hill bar and community space hosting a range of LGBTQ+ events and community gatherings.
- DIESEL Seattle - Capitol Hill bear bar with a leather-friendly crowd; hosts a monthly Leather Night (3rd Thursday) with dark room setup.
- Gallery Erato - Pan Eros Foundation art gallery and event space in Pioneer Square; CSPC’s current home and available to rent for community kink and erotic arts events.
- Kink Center - Volunteer-run nonprofit community center on Capitol Hill with ADA-accessible, configurable event space for kink and BDSM events, workshops, and community gatherings.
- Slightly Furry Beverage Co. - Queer and furry-owned cidery and taproom on Rainier Ave S; welcoming space for the queer and furry communities with hard cider, mead, and guest taps.
- The Lumberyard Bar - LGBTQ bar in White Center with drag shows, karaoke, and a friendly all-inclusive community vibe.
